Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of The University of Comilla (UNIC). The University was established in 2003. We are proud that the university already passed more than a decade of its successful journey towards excellence. The university has a permanent campus which certainly made the path of its expedition triumphant.

Engineering has the power to transform lives. This is why our students of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the The University of Comilla (UNIC) are so passionate about pursuing an engineering education. The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences is comprised with four (04) departments: Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Textile Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Department of Mathematics & Statistics,

Today engineering education and research are in a period of extraordinary transition. Our faculty too is undergoing on an exciting transformation. Over the next few years we will grow our student body and expand the size of our faculty. This expansion will allow us to better serve the people of Bangladesh and to accommodate many more of the applicants who seek to attend the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the The University of Comilla (UNIC).

Engineers must address the most pressing problems facing the society – problems with energy, water, food, health and the environment – and do it in a sustainable, ethical, and humane way. We will expand our research enterprise to address our nation’s most difficult and pressing technological problems.

Around 67 intakes have been graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences. We are very proud that our students are employed in different national and multinational organizations and are working with dignity.

I believe there are huge opportunities to transform the way we teach engineering and even who we teach it to. We will add more latest educational technologies to our classrooms with the existing one. I am very excited about the future of Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences and I look forward to working with our students, faculty, alumni and guardians to lead our university to new heights.
